Coed Soccer Leagues

The Erie Soccer League offers a wide selection of playing divisions based on skill levels. The more competitive coed divisions play on Tuesday evenings   Wednesday is for the more recreational players.  On Friday evening, our purely social league plays.

Tuesday Coed Divisions

Tuesday evenings are our more competitive coed playing leagues.

Division 1 (Competitive/Elite) – This division is open to all players. This division is geared towards the college and high school players, but welcomes those who want to play at a more competitive pace and against very good competition. Players & teams possessing this similar mindset are encouraged to play in this division. This division plays with 3 male & 2 female field players plus a goalkeeper. This division plays on Tuesday evening and will have one (1) Referee per game.

Coed Division 2 Description – This division is the mid-point of the coed divisions.and is a bit more competitive than the Coed Division 3 league. The ideal player is adequately skilled to above-average skill and wants to play at a more competitive pace than the CoEd Division 3 offers. This division plays with 3 male & 2 female field players plus a goalkeeper. This division plays on Tuesday evenings and will have one referee per game.

Wednesday Coed Divisions

Wednesday evenings are more laid back and recreational in nature as opposed to the highly competitive coed soccer leagues that play on Tuesdays.

Division 3 (more Recreational) – This league is designed to be competitive in play without losing the recreational aspect of the game. Unless decided otherwise, this league will be the entry point for all new teams. This division plays with 3 male & 2 female field players plus a goalkeeper. This division plays on Wednesday evenings and will have one (1) Referee per game.

Division 4 (Totally recreational) – Coed division 4 is for players and teams that just want to play and enjoy soccer.  Players who are more skilled in nature that have the mentality of using team play to help elevate the play of others are also welcome in this division. Players and teams in this Division should have the mindset of playing for fun, playing at a low-competition level and with low aggression. Players with the “just win” mindset, or those who are going to challenge the referee’s every call, will not be a good fit in this Division and will be asked to settle down (the next step is told to leave). This division plays with 3 male & 2 female field players plus a goalkeeper. This division plays on Wednesday evenings and will have one (1) Referee per game. 

Mens Soccer Leagues

The Men’s Premier Division is our “flagship division” of the Erie Soccer League. We play 90 minute games using IFAB Rules and a three referee system. This competitive soccer league primarily plays on Sundays.  This is real soccer played the way it should be played rather than small sided.
